On Friday, May 19, Comrade Soumitro Banerjee of the Socialist Unity Center of India (Communist) (SUCI(C)) met with Comrade Joe Morman, Organizational Secretary of the Party of Communists USA, at the John Reed Center in Seattle, WA.
At the Center, the comrades held a bilateral discussion where they talked about the histories of their respective Parties and exchanged perspectives on the struggles faced by the international proletariat today.
Comrade Banerjee exchanged greetings with Comrade Angelo D’Angelo, General Secretary of the Party of Communists USA, over a teleconference hosted at the Center, and offered an invitation on behalf of the SUCI(C) to an International Seminar on August 7th. The Seminar will be held on the occasion of the Birth Centenary of Comrade Shibdas Ghosh, founder of the SUCI(C). Participants will discuss problems and prospects of the international Communist movement today.
The Party of Communists USA is honored by the invitation to the International Seminar and looks forward to strengthening relations with the Socialist Unity Center of India (Communist).
