Day of the Sun: Floral Baskets Laid Before Statues of Great Leaders

All the people across the DPRK, greeting the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim II Sung, pay the highest tribute to the peerlessly great sage who gave etemal vitality to the ever-victorious history of the Korean revolution winning victory after victory with independence in politics, self-support in the economy, self-reliance in national defense, and laid solid foundation of Korean-style socialism with his great revolutionary practice.

Senior Party and government officials including Kim Tok Hun, Choe Ryong Has and Ri Pyong Chol and other officials of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), ministries, national agencies and armed forces organs and laid floral baskets the statues of President Kim II Sung and Chairman Kim Jong II on Mansu Hill on the occasion of the significant Day of the Sun on Sunday.

The guard of honor of the Korean People’s Army lined up there.

A floral basket in the name of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Us was laid before the statues of the great leaders. Laid before the statues were floral baskets in the name of the Central Committee of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

The participants paid tribute to the statues of the great leaders.

All the participants were filled with high enthusiasm to make a positive contribution to the successful implementation of the fighting program of the WPK by giving full play to the patriotic strength and zeal in the new era which is vibrant with great changes.
