How RFK Jr.’s Raw Milk Performance is “Udderly” Dangerous for Children and Democracy
From raw milk to vaccines for children, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s clownish stance on food safety and health is dangerous for American workers and their families. It’s not about drinking an ounce of raw milk and shilling for his friend’s oddball company at a White House Press junket; it’s about casting doubt, confusion and rejecting settled science. By de-regulating safety standards, Trump and his “brainworm” infested Secretary of Health and Human Services wants to dump the costs and risks of a food and drug agenda that puts profits before people.
In May 2025, RFK Jr. drank a shot of raw milk at the White House in a symbolic gesture of support for the Trump Regime’s departure from the decades old, broadly accepted food safety standards and the science that supports them. The Trump Regime means to mislead the American worker. By brazenly casting off science and regulatory institutions, built and funded by the American worker, RFK Jr. has founded his career on an agenda written for him by the boutique health, nutrition and supplement industry. They mean to de-regulate the established science and regulatory system and capitalize on the market driven chaos that results from its clumsy dismantling.
What the American worker needs to know is, the culture of food and safety self-experimentation is created in boardrooms, not laboratories. This charade profits a handful of billionaire eccentrics and threatens working class children with health risks that science deleted decades ago, offering novelty and distraction in place of scientifically supported safety standards. Standards such as the pasteurization of dairy products, a food safety measure introduced in late 19th century, were institutionalized as common sense measures to prevent food poisoning and tuberculosis. Food poisoning was among the top ten causes of death until pasteurization ended it. Raw milk was one of the leading causes of death before pasteurization became standard practice.
Pasteurization is fundamental for protecting children. Raw milk carries harmful dairy-borne bacteria and viruses, including E. Coli and campylobacter. The immune systems of children are not fully developed, leaving them more vulnerable to these food borne illnesses. By treating milk by heating it to degrees 161 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 seconds (one standard of pasteurization for liquid milk products), the health risks are reduced to near zero, as science has demonstrated as safe and effective for over a century. The process does nothing to reduce milk’s nutritional value, and it only kills the dangerous bacteria, leaving plenty of beneficial bacteria we know now plays a positive role in human health.
RFK Jr’s performances have changed tone since his raw milk stunt last May and the Trump regime has moved on to endorsing “whole milk”. He’s abandoned his associations with Raw Farm’s CEO and founder Mark McAfee, the country’s biggest raw milk company. Raw Farm has been at odds with the USDA for years, having settled cases after being accused of illegally shipping their products over state lines and being implicated in harming people and pets with their raw milk products. Raw Farm’s milk was found to contain H5N1 virus, which causes bird flu in 2024. The product has been back on store shelves since January 2025, but Kennedy remains silent on the subject, having moved on to promoting protein and replacing America’s vaccination protocol with Denmark’s.
The Trump regime has betrayed the worker-built safety and scientific institutions. It presents pseudo-science as evidence and replaces the safety of American children with trendy narratives created by niche industry chums in boardrooms where, this writer wonders, if raw milk is served
