Greetings to the Third Congress of the Italian Communist Party (PCI)
Dear Comrades,
The Party of Communists USA (PCUSA) sends greetings to the Italian Communist Party (PCI) for its third Party Congress.
This Congress meets amidst a disjointed and disunified International Communist Movement, with the reviled fascist threat gaining ground in both our respective countries. In the words of the revolutionary Antonio Gramsci, “The old world is dying, and the new world struggles to be born: now is the time of monsters.”
The PCUSA stands in solidarity with the PCI, who strive to carry high the legacies of the National Liberation Committee and the revolutionary struggle for Socialism-Communism, and Marxism-Leninism on the Italian Peninsula.
The PCUSA is confident the third Congress of the PCI will foster good conclusions and a firm, uncompromising line of anti-imperialist, anti-fascist, and anti-capitalist struggle, towards unity and revolutionary cohesion against the enemies of the international proletariat.
