Joe Biden: Myth vs Reality

The recent presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden has left many asking, “are these really the two candidates we have to choose between?” Corporate media has portrayed Biden’s unpopularity as stemming from his old age. While old age is a valid concern regarding his ability to lead, there are more important reasons Biden is not popular which are not covered in the news as often.

The most glaring is the administration’s support of the genocidal campaign by the Israeli government, which earned Biden the nickname “Genocide Joe.” Many people are also unhappy with the massive amounts of money spent on Ukraine, including weapons to neo-Nazi groups like the Azov Battalion, while the infrastructure of our own country deteriorates. Biden’s supposed working-class oriented policy fell short when he signed legislation blocking railroad workers from striking and asked Congress to impose a contract which failed to ensure paid sick leave. After the East Palestine train derailment, rather than provide support to the affected Americans, Biden instead went to Ukraine to meet with Zelenskyy and provide half a billion dollars in aid.

Joe Biden’s actions have consistently shown that he is a puppet to the Raytheons, Lockheed Martins and General Dynamics, not a representative of the American people. Biden is not just someone who is trying his best to preserve democracy despite his declining cognitive abilities, he is and always has been a war hawk representing corporate interests.
