RFK Jr. Vaccine Anti-Science Endangers Millions of Children Needlessly

The Federal Government, in effect, will no longer support health services, and will send this money to other places like the Military. RFK Jr and the Trump Administration’s guideline changes are really about prioritizing the profits of healthcare companies over actual patient care.
The worker should know that, effective immediately, their public health and safety, through routine vaccinations against preventable childhood disease and death, were lowered by almost 40%. Ordered by Trump on Dec. 5, 2025, the Jan. 5 Health and Human Services department, led by crony RFK Jr., issued a report to increase public trust in vaccines by adopting the nation of Denmark’s public health recommendations.
It pushed more vaccines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) vaccination recommendations list. The CDC recommendations followed in lockstep to cut the 18 recommended vaccines down to 11. These standards establish the baseline for public health standards of disease prevention as the CDC’s immunization guidance is followed by the states, public schools and childcare providers.
But the HHS assessment provided “no data, no papers, no discussions at all in this quote-unquote exhaustive search-So we have no idea who made these decisions and why they were made now,” according to Dr. Yvonne Maldonado, Stanford University professor of global health and infectious diseases. Maldonado is concerned by “An incredible lack of transparency behind the new schedule”.
The CDC now recommends all children receive vaccines for measles, mumps, rubella, polio, pertussis, tetanus, diphtheria, Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib), pneumococcal disease, HPV and chickenpox. Other vaccines, moved off the recommendation list, are available through “shared decision making”.
The CDC’s “shared decision making” category of vaccines is established to trade widespread disease protections for “individually based shared clinical decision-making for vaccinating children.” The CDC moved a separate class of vaccines from being generally recommended last year, to now being recommended only to “high-risk” categories of patients. Public health decision making has been pushed onto individuals and families, now fully dependent on vetted medical scientific expertise to protect their children.
The HHS said the reduced vaccine schedule is meant to restore damaged public trust and repair decreased vaccine uptake, both caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, it alleges, “a significant decline in public trust in health care institutions between 2020 and 2024, alongside falling childhood vaccination rates and increased risk of vaccine-preventable diseases.” U.S. Commissioner of Food and Drugs Dr. Makary said, “That trust depends on transparency, rigorous science, and respect for families. Public health works only when people trust it.”
Deregulation to restore public trust and compliance with the state is like removing stop signs to restore public trust in yielding. The Trump Administration has never concerned itself with public trust. This move was made to diminish the public health system by shifting authority over standards of care away from public control and oversight, granting it to monopoly capital and its cronies. Insurance companies, which are simply privately held financial institutions selling financial products, will profit from reduced standards and weakened regulations. They, along with individuals now have unprecedented capacity to abdicate public healthcare standards put into place for the protection of children against preventable disease and death. More children will become sick. More will die. This is all entirely preventable.
