The 21st Conference of the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) elected their 21st General Council in Windhoek, Namibia. Pro-democratic youth leagues and diplomatic envoys from over 60 countries attended the three day-long conference.
The recent Conference elections played a clarifying role in the international struggle of the youth for peace and Socialism. By rejecting elements of the WFDY’s leadership that detract and sabotage the anti-fascist, anti-imperialist, and pro-democratic struggle, WFDY stands stronger and more capable to lead the international youth movement towards a better future.
