The PSMLS presents a class from the Animal Rights Commission of the Party of Communists USA (PCUSA) called “Why Animal Rights?” It focuses on a dialectical view of the animal rights question rather than a moral one. The presentation explains how speciesism is a form of chauvinism and how our level of consciousness should evolve as the reality changes.
